Drivers of servo-step motors

Moons' servo drives will meet the expectations of even the most demanding applications. The drive consists of a stepper motor with an encoder and an advanced controller responsible for working in a closed feedback loop. It is possible to work in speed, position or torque mode. The motors are equipped with an encoder with a high resolution of 4096 imp./rev. for the RS series and 20,000 pulses/rev. for the SS and SS-EC series, which guarantees smooth operation and highly accurate positioning. Servostep drives are devoid of many disadvantages of a standard stepper motor, such as: missing steps, low efficiency, heating up to high temperatures, mechanical resonances, etc. In addition, Moons' servodrives offer extensive communication capabilities, including via Modbus, Ethernet IP, CANopen, EtherCAT, SCL communication protocols. Noteworthy is also the built-in internal motion controller - Q programmer, which enables independent operation of the drive. As a result, in many cases it is possible to resign from using a master controller, e.g. a PLC.

Step-Servo drives of the RS series are basic and at the same time economical operating in a closed feedback loop. They allow you to work in the mode of position, speed and torque. The control is carried out by means of a step-direction impulse signal or by using the built-in motion controller, the so-called Qprogrammer. The servomotors of the RS series are equipped with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 4096 pulses/rev. They are available in sizes from NEMA11 to NEMA34, with a holding torque of up to 7.2Nm.

SS Step-Servo servo drives are advanced closed-loop servo drives. They allow you to work in the mode of position, speed and torque. The control is carried out by means of a step-direction impulse signal, an analog signal, network communication: Ethernet IP, CANopen, Modbus RTU, eSCL or by using the built-in motion controller, the so-called Qprogrammer. The servomotors of the SS series are equipped with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 4096 pulses/rev. or 20,000 pulses/rev, optionally also with a brake. They are available in sizes from NEMA11 to NEMA34, with a holding torque of up to 8.2Nm.

 SS-EC series Step-Servo servo drives are advanced closed-loop servo drives. They allow you to work in the mode of position, speed and torque. The control is carried out using a step-direction pulse signal, an analog signal, EtherCAT (CiA 402) network communication or by using the built-in motion controller, the so-called Qprogrammer. SS-EC series servo motors are equipped with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 4096 pulses/rev. or 20,000 pulses/rev. They are available in sizes from NEMA11 to NEMA34, with a holding torque of up to 8 Nm. The controllers have a built-in STO (Safe Torque Off) function
