Servo drives
Moons' servo drives will meet the expectations of even the most demanding applications. The drive consists of a stepper motor with an encoder and an advanced controller responsible for working in a closed feedback loop. Operation in speed, position or torque mode is possible. The motors are equipped with an encoder of high resolution 4096imp./rev. for the RS series and 20000 imp./rev. for the SS and SS-EC series, which guarantees smooth operation and very accurate positioning. Servo drives are free of many of the drawbacks of the standard stepper motor, such as: losing steps, low efficiency, heating up to high temperatures, mechanical resonances, etc. In addition, Moons' servo drives offer a wide range of communication options, including Modbus, Ethernet IP, CANopen, EtherCAT, SCL communication protocols. The built-in motion controller - Q programmer - is also noteworthy, which allows the drive to operate independently. Thanks to this, in many cases it is possible to dispense with the use of a higher-level controller, e.g. a PLC controller.

The RS series Step-Servo servo drives are basic and economical stepper servo drives operating in a closed-loop feedback system. They enable operation in position, speed and torque modes. Control is performed by a step-direction pulse signal or by using the built-in motion controller, the so-called Qprogrammer. RS series servo steppers are equipped with a 4096 cpr incremental encoder. Available in NEMA11 to NEMA34 sizes with a holding torque of up to 7.2Nm.
Step-Servo SS series servo drives are advanced servo drives that operate in a closed loop feedback system. They enable working in position, velocity and torque modes. Control is done via step-direction pulse signal, analog signal, network communication: Ethernet IP, CANopen, Modbus RTU, eSCL or by using the built-in motion controller, the so-called Qprogrammer. SS series servo motors are equipped with incremental encoder with resolution of 4096 pulses/rev. or 20000 pulses/rev., optionally also with brake. They are available in sizes from NEMA11 to NEMA34, with holding torque up to 8.2Nm.
Step-Servo SS-EC series servo drives are advanced servo drives operating in a closed loop feedback system. They enable operation in position, speed, and torque mode. Control is done via step-direction pulse signal, analog signal, EtherCAT network communication (CiA 402), or by using the built-in motion controller, called the Qprogrammer. SS-EC series servo motors are equipped with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 4096 pulses/rev or 20000 pulses/rev. They are available in sizes from NEMA11 to NEMA34, with holding torque up to 8 Nm. The controllers have a built-in STO (Safe Torque Off) function.
