Groov EPIC (Edge Programmable Industrial Controller) is much more than a PLC or PAC. It is a real-time industrial controller and a system for collecting, processing, displaying, and exchanging data.

The Groov EPIC system is an advanced modular automation system. The warranty for main components such as the processor, power supply, baseboard, and relay output module is 30 months. All other I/O modules have a lifetime warranty. The range of available modules is continuously expanded with new products.
Processor
The system’s core is an advanced CPU unit with an integrated HMI display. Two independent network cards allow for network segregation and the highest level of security. Groov EPIC can be used in the most demanding applications and work environments, including explosion-hazardous zones (certified ATEX Cat.3, Zone 2), and is designed for operation in a wide temperature range. The use of touch fields on each I/O module automatically activates diagnostic views for the selected module on the HMI panel.
Power Supply
The power supply is a required system component, available in AC, DC, and external power adapter versions.
Baseboard
The baseboard is the EPIC system’s foundational element, ensuring quick and stable mounting in control cabinets. Baseboards are available with varying numbers of expansion module slots.
Digital Input Modules
Digital input modules come in 12- and 24-channel versions, with direct connection capability for different DC and AC signal ranges, featuring inter-channel isolation options. All DI modules come with a lifetime warranty.
Digital Output Modules
Digital output modules are available in 12- and 24-channel AC and DC versions with inter-channel isolation. These modules are covered by a lifetime warranty. An 8-channel relay module with a 30-month warranty is also available.
Analog Input Modules
Analog input modules come in 8-, 12-, and 24-channel versions, with current, voltage, and temperature measurement inputs. These modules have a 30-month warranty.
Analog Output Modules
Analog output modules are available in 8-channel versions with configurable voltage or current channels. These modules have a lifetime warranty.
Communication Module
The communication module is available in a 4-channel version for common serial communication standards RS-232 and RS-485. This module has a 30-month warranty.
