Solutions for the special vehicle industry

Special vehicles - within this broad industry, we will see both specialized fire engines, vehicles modified for the army or border guards, as well as more common dairy tanks or camping cars. For the sake of generalization of the topic, we can locate vehicles that differ in character in this group, because after a deeper analysis we will notice that the solutions and products used are not so far apart. They can be used, among others:

• gas springs by Stabilus, including springs with a blockade (Bloc-O-Lift) or gas shock absorbers (Stab-O-Shoc),

• DC or BLDC motors and geared motors,

• stepper motors, servo-steppers or geared motors with such motors, and even stepper motors with a trapezoidal screw,

• electric actuators,

• oscillating and vibro-isolating elements of the Swiss brand Resatec,

• machine parts such as V-belts, wheels, chains, etc.

The spectrum of application is wide. We will use our DC motor for the aggregate in a tanker (dairy) vehicle - similarly to the fire hose reel. For the water cannon, we recommend the use of an electric actuator with vertical adjustment and a BLDC or stepper drive for the rotary axis. The windows or flaps in the camper, on the other hand, cannot do without our gas springs. These are just examples, of course - there are many solutions, and all of them are open to our clients and partners.
