Adaptors for lifting gearboxes
Universal joints can be used for applications where a worm drive must be mounted so that it can rotate. In combination with worm drives, they are often found in scissor lift table drives or in movements of folding platforms or window fronts. When designing rotary worm drives, it should be kept in mind that the acting forces can be very strongly dependent on the angular position of the worm. It should also be noted that no transverse forces may act on the worm drive, even with the use of KAR nut adaptors.

KA Series Cardan Adapters are available for applications where screw jacks are required to be installed to enable rotation around an axis. Depending on the direction of rotation, two different versions are available: If the axis of rotation is parallel to the drive shaft, type KA-ZQ-AB should be used, if the direction of rotation is perpendicular to the drive shaft, type KA-ZL-CD should be used. Mounting sides: side E or F.

In combination with the KA-ZL-CD or KA-ZQ-AB adapter, the KLF supporting blocks or KLB blocks mounted perpendicular to the rotation axis can be used for screw jacks in existing rotary constructions.
SE type rotary elements are dedicated to C series screw jacks. The rotary pins are made of bronze, which guarantees a smooth rotation.
Due to the pre-fitting of the pins in the housings, the assembly must be precisely set by the customer during final assembly. The screws must then be tightened with a specified torque.
Other sizes are available upon request. They are also available in stainless steel.
