Integrated stepper motors
Integrated stepper motors of the STM-R series consist of a stepper motor with a built-in stepper motor driver. They can be additionally equipped with an incremental encoder with a resolution of 4000 imp/rev. However, these motors work in an open feedback loop, so the encoder should be handled by the master controller. The STM-R series is a basic, economical version of integrated stepper motors, enabling motor control using a step-direction pulse signal.
