PLC and PAC drivers
Groov EPIC (Edge Programmable Industrial Controller) is much more than a PLC or PAC. It is a real-time industrial controller and a system for collecting, processing, displaying, and exchanging data.
Groov EPIC is a device that is a secure bridge between the world of industry and IT solutions. It combines a PLC controller, PC computer, OPC server, IoT gateways, I/O modules, and an HMI panel. This gives us an all-in-one solution that is characterized by its simplicity, universality, and highest level of security.
Groov EPIC can communicate directly with actuators, other control systems, databases, cloud services, and many more

The groov EPIC system is an advanced modular automation system. The warranty for the main components such as the processor, power supply, baseboard and relay output module is 30 months. There is a lifetime warranty for all other I/O modules. The range of available modules is constantly being expanded with new products.
Processor
The heart of the system is an advanced CPU unit with an integrated HMI screen. Two independent network cards allow for network separation and provide the highest level of security. groov EPIC can be used in the most demanding applications and working environments, including hazardous areas (with ATEX cat.3, zone 2 certification) and is designed to work in a wide range of temperatures. The use of a touch field placed on each of the I/O modules will automatically launch the diagnostic view of the requested module on the HMI panel.

Chassis
Chassis is the basic element of the EPIC system providing fast and stable mounting in the control cabinet. Boards with different numbers of module sockets are available.
Digital input modules
Digital input modules are available in 12- and 24-channel versions, with the ability to directly connect different DC and AC signal ranges with inter-channel isolation option. All DI modules are covered by a lifetime warranty.
Digital output modules
Digital output modules are available in 12- and 24-channel AC and DC versions with inter-channel isolation option. These modules are covered by a lifetime warranty. An 8-channel relay module is also available with a 30-month warranty.
Analog input modules
Analog input modules are available in 8-, 12- and 24-channel versions. The modules come with current, voltage inputs, and several temperature measurement inputs. The modules are covered by a 30-month warranty.
Analog output
Analog output modules are available in an 8-channel version with configurable voltage or current channels. The modules are covered by a lifetime warranty.
The communication module
The communication module is available in a 4-channel version for popular serial communication standards RS-232 and RS-485. The module is covered by a 30-month warranty.
PAC Project
The PAC Project provides the software needed for industrial automation, process control, building automation, remote monitoring, data acquisition, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications in any field.
The package includes:
- PAC Control Basic, a fully functional, block-based tool for developing control programs for Groov EPIC processors and SNAP PAC controllers
- PAC Display Basic, for creating Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for operators and technicians to monitor and interact with the SNAP PAC
- PAC Manager, a tool utility for configuring and managing SNAP PAC controllers, brains, and I/O.
- Software tools include:
• groov Manage for browser-based management of your groov EPIC
system, from the integrated front touchscreen display or any
browser-based device
• groov View for building and viewing custom operator interfaces
for local, mobile, and browser-based devices
• Node-RED for creating data flows to connect cloud services,
databases, and APIs through pre-built node
