Transtecno is an Italian manufacturer of industrial drive units. STROJNA is a company with a long tradition, dating back to 1906. Initially, Strojna produced gears and worm gear assemblies but also engaged in machine repairs (particularly in the textile industry). Changes began with World War II—first, the company relocated to Melje at Linhartova 11, where it remains headquartered to this day. Over a decade after the war, the company changed its name from 'Remont' to 'Strojna' (which can be freely translated as 'equipment/machinery'), better reflecting its character.
